Hablarama’s Spanish Grammar Guide

While we at Hablarama very much favour natural, practical methods of learning languages, sometimes a little bit of grammar can go a long way!

Spanish is based on Latin, and those Romans were real sticklers for grammar rules.  As a result, Spanish is a very logical language with far fewer irregularities than we find in our own mongrel tongue.

Spanish tenses

In this section on Spanish grammar, our main focus in on the Spanish tenses. We look at the most used tenses and show you how both regular and irregular verbs are conjugated.  We also talk about how each tense is used and point out the similarites – and differences – with English.

Audio files

As always in Hablarama, audio files are provided and feature a variety of native Spanish speakers.
