Time for some more Listening practice.
Basic Spanish Conversations. #2
Minutes
(Practice makes perfect!)
As we’ve said previously, the aim of this Conversation section is to get you gradually accustomed to the fairly unique rhythm of the Spanish language. We think the best way to do that is with simple dialogues featuring native Spaniards and Latin Americans speaking at close to their normal speed.
In this class, we’ll listen to two Spanish women talking about their age. We won’t go into details about grammar as we already cover that in our class on giving basic personal information in Spanish.
The texts of the conversations are included at the bottom of the page. However, please try not to look until you’ve listened to each dialogue at least twice!
It’s a good idea to review the Spanish numbers!
How did you get on with those short conversations? A little difficult to distinguish one word from another? Don’t worry, it gets loads easier with practice!
As the object of this class is to improve your listening comprehension we have deliberately left out the English translations (bad Chris!) If you are unsure about any of the phrases/questions, please check out the corresponding classes in our basic Spanish course.
